UK’s office* show featured on the BBC World Service’s Business Daily programme
office* – the UK’s leading event dedicated to meeting the business, training and networking needs of Britain’s office professionals, recently featured on the BBC World Service’s Business Daily in a special on ‘Personal Assistants’. The office* show provided a vibrant backdrop for the 18-minute radio broadcast, which aired on 27 December 2011, and sought to examine the role and importance of the PA in the modern workplace.

Recorded live on the second day of office* 2011, Friday 16 September, Business Daily’s host Justin Rowlatt interviews event organiser Diversified Business Communications UK’s managing director Carsten Holm before stepping out on to the show floor to enjoy the sights and sounds of the office* experience for himself.

Attendance up 18% at UK’s office* show!
Diversified Business Communications UK has reported a substantial 18% increase in attendance for the second edition of its office* show, which took place last week, on 15-16 September, at London’s Earls Court. The show’s 165 plus exhibitors were joined by over 3,675 PAs, EAs, office managers and senior administrators from thousands of different organisations from all across the country.

1st annual National PA Survey results announced – UK Survey reveals feelings of the nation’s PAs
To coincide with the launch of the UK’s first ever National PA Day, event organisers Diversified Business Communications UK have announced a summary of the UK’s 1st annual National PA Survey results, which are set to be unveiled in full at the office* show at Earls Court, London, tomorrow, Thursday. Introduced to discover more about the feelings and aspirations of the UK’s estimated 600,000 personal assistants and executive assistants, the 1st annual National PA Survey – one of the most comprehensive surveys of Britain’s PAs ever undertaken – was completed by 1,637 respondents during the last week of August 2011 (Friday 26 August and Thursday 1 September).

Software giant Microsoft, the world’s largest computer software company, will host two full afternoons of informative demo sessions at this year’s office*, say the show’s organiser Diversified Business Communications UK.
